Sharad Patel holds Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India in 2019, and works as the assistant professor at Department of Civil Engineering, Shri Ram Institute of Technology, Jabalpur, India. His expertise lies in Groundwater Flow Modelling and Management, Meshfree Method, Evolutionary Algorithms and their Hybridizations, Application of Artificial intelligence in the groundwater. He has published 9 articles in peer reviewed journals, 6 conference papers, 3 book chapters and 5 patents. He serves as a reviewer for some journals including Water Resources Management, Hydrological Processes, Journal of Soil and Water Conservation, etc. He is the memberships of research societies, including American Society of Civil Engineering, European Water Resources Association, Indian Water Resources Society and so on.
