Professor Ayman G. Awadallah is a leading Water Resources Engineer with over 35 years of experience in consultancy and academia. As Principal and Head of the Hydrology Design Unit at Dar Al-Handasah, he leads major water management and flood protection projects across the Middle East and Africa, including work funded by the World Bank. Notable projects include impact assessments of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam and flood masterplans for cities like Riyadh and Lagos. He is also a Professor at Fayoum University, Egypt, focusing on statistical hydrology, arid-region water management, and climate-resilient modeling. With 40+ publications, editorial roles, and advisory work for Egypt’s Ministry of Water Resources, Prof. Awadallah is also recognized for his specialized training programs in hydrology and water resources software.
