Dr. Lin Guo, Associate Professor of Environmental Science at East Texas A&M University, specializes in sustainable phytoremediation of contaminated ecosystems using wetland plants (Phragmites australis, cattails, Lemna minor) for metal sequestration. Her innovative work—enhancing metal uptake with organic acids such as citric acid—has produced over 20 peer-reviewed publications in leading journals (Journal of Environmental Quality, International Journal of Phytoremediation).
